Woodlands celebrates clubhouse opening

State-of-art clubhouse unveiled at Hamilton active adult community

Beazer Homes Corp. unveiled its state-of-art clubhouse at The Woodlands at Hamilton recently during a ribbon cutting ceremony that prompted cheers from 70 current and soon-to-be homeowners at the new active adult community. Hamilton Township Mayor Glen D. Gilmore addressed the enthusiastic crowd and cut the s social, fitness and entertainment hub.
Beazer Homes President Mike Neill, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Terry Karschnik, and Senior Vice President of Construction Tony Rostock were also present to meet and greet guests and participate in the ceremony.
The 3,500-square-foot clubhouse will serve as the center of social activity and includes an attractive, comfortable lounge for television viewing, a meeting room, and a kitchenette for parties and gatherings. Designed specifically to accommodate the lifestyles and tastes of adults, age 55 and over the clubhouse also includes an exercise room, for the health conscious, which features treadmills, stationary bicycles, and weight equipment.
‘We’re pleased that our homebuyers are so elated with the completed clubhouse and its amenities," says Mr. Neill. "It’s just as exciting for us as it is for the people who will use the facility for years to come."
The new clubhouse is adjacent to a recently completed outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. A shuffleboard court, horseshoe pit, and garden area are planned. A half-mile walking path will eventually loop around a section of the neighborhood and adjoin four separate exercise stations for stretching, toning and strength training. The equipment is specially designed for chin-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, and leg and back stretches.
A wooded picnic area with tables and grills will also be situated along the trail. Mature trees and professionally designed landscaping create a park-like setting within homeowners’ backyards.
