HAMILTON Mary Cartella Pangaldi, 74, died Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Shenandoah, Pa., she lived in the Trenton area 48 years.
She retired in 1989 after 23 years as a hair stylist with the NPI/NJ Psychiatric Hospital in West Trenton.
Daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth and Carmella Scarpino Cartella and sister of the late Elizabeth Blackwell, she is survived by her husband, Samuel J. Pangaldi; a son and daughter-in-law, Samuel J. Jr. and Nancy Pangaldi of Lawrenceville; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Marie and Scott Laudenslager of Georgia; a brother and sister-in-law, Dominic and Doris Cartella of Shenandoah; two sisters, Rose Tella of Lawrenceville and Frances Patas of Ewing; four grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie Pangaldi and Thomas and Melissa Gray; and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Ave., Trenton.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Shenandoah.
