The Friends of St. Mary’s School will sponsor a trip to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse to see a Christmas musical show on Thursday, Nov. 1. Event benefits St. Mary’s School. For details, call 298-3420 or 298-4396.
Rummage sale
The First Baptist Church of Bordentown will hold its annual fall rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1, 2 and 3, in the church basement.
Please use the entrance on Church Street.
In addition to good clothing at very low prices there will be a "this and that" table. Saturday is bag day, where you can get a whole bag of stuff for $1.
Candidates night
On Friday, Nov. 2, the Mansfield Area Senior Citizens group will host a Mansfield Township candidates night, 7:30 p.m., at the Columbus Grange Hall on Atlantic Avenue, Columbus.
Wellness Day
The Sterling House of Florence and the Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association is offering flu shots to the community from 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2. Bring insurance/Medicare information. For more information and directions call (609) 499-6662.

festival
Holy Cross Lutheran Church will hold an Old European Village market and festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3 located at 280 Crosswicks Road (Route 528 East), Bordentown Township. Shops representing Austria, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Spain will feature country-specific gift items and foods for purchase. Holiday craft show
Friends of St. Mary’s School are seeking crafters for their holiday craft show and bake sale scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. Mary’s School in Bordentown. The cost of the table is $20. Crafters interested in participating should contact Sue at (609) 324-9082.
Fund-raiser
The P.T.F. at Holy Cross Lutheran School in Bordentown is sponsoring a Vendor’s Day fund-raiser from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10. Consultants from companies such as Pampered Chef, Discovery Toys, Tupperware and more, will offer their products in support of school children.
Cake sale
Bordentown’s St. Mary’s Rosary Alter Society is holding a cake sale on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10 and 11, after all masses.
Casino trip
The Knights of Columbus 570 is sponsoring a trip to the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City on Sunday, Nov. 11. Cost is $15 per person and participants will receive $11 in coins. For reservations call Bob at 298-5530.
Stuffed cabbage sale
Holy Assumption School will be having a stuffed cabbage sale on Sunday, Nov. 11. This is for preorders and take-outs only. The last day to place an order will be Nov. 2. The price is $10 a dozen. Please bring your own container. You can place an order by calling 499-0045.

Commerce meeting
The Greater Bordentown Area Chamber of Commerce is holding their meeting at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Town & Country Diner, Route 130 North, Bordentown. Factory outlets trip
Burlington County Historical Society (BCHS) is sponsoring a bus trip to the Vanity Fair Factory Outlets in Reading, Pa., Thursday, Nov. 15. The bus will leave the BCHS complex at 8:30 a.m. and return at 5 p.m. For more information call (609) 386-4773, Ext. 12.
Christmas bazaar
The Trinity United Methodist Church in Bordentown is hosting its annual Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17. Trash and treasure rooms open 9 a.m. to noon both days. Soup and sandwich luncheon 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 16. Family style roast beef dinner 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 17. Horse and wagon
rides
The Downtown Business Association announces the holiday horse and wagon rides will be held on Saturdays, Dec. 1, 15 and 22. Tickets are on sale at the Artful Deposit Gallery in Bordentown. Call (609) 298-6920 for times and prices.
Soccer games

Quilts for Kids
The Quilts for Kids sewing group will meets every fourth Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bordentown Presbyterian Church fellowship hall on Farnsworth Avenue. All are welcome. The group makes machine-sewn quilts for sick and abused children. Fabric is provided. Clean, pressed 100 percent cotton fabric, crib size batting and thread donations accepted. Bring your own machine.
Hall of Fame
Nominations for the 2001-2002 Bordentown Regional High School Hall of Fame are currently being accepted.
