Broderick

   WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP — Virginia "Ginny" Gropp Broderick, 70, of Robbinsville died Nov. 13 at Bright View Hospice in Avon, Conn.
   Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident and a member of St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, Hamilton.
   Daughter of the late Andrew Jr. and Mabel Parker Gropp, she is survived by her husband, William C. Broderick; a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Kevin Tylus of Avon; two sons, William A. Broderick of Flushing, N.Y., and Daniel J. Broderick of Suwanee, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Eileen Gearren of Bordentown City; four grandchildren, Megan, Lindsey, Kevin and Kelsey Tylus; and nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held from Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel.
   Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, Hamilton.
   Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
Louis J.

Walters Jr.

   HAMILTON — Louis J. Walters Jr., 73, died Nov. 14 at home.
   Born in Trenton, he lived in Hopewell for 25 years before moving to Hamilton.
   Mr. Walters was a Navy veteran and operated Mobil gas stations in the Hopewell area.
   He enjoyed fishing.
   Son of the late Louis J. Sr. and Greta E. Liedtka Walters, husband of the late Agnes H. Walters and brother of the late Jean D. Gropp, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Paul E. and Geraldine Walters of Columbus; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
   The funeral was private.
   Burial was in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
   Arrangements were by Mullen Funeral Home, Trenton.
Cecila M. Norton

   ITHACA, N.Y. — Cecila M. Norton, 96, died Nov. 14 at Lakeside Nursing Home in Ithaca.
   Born in Syracuse, she was a longtime resident of Juliustown before moving to Ithaca a few years ago.
   She was a homemaker and member of St. Andrew’s Church in Jobstown.
   Wife of the late Charles E. Norton, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Jr. and Regina Norton of Romulus; three grandsons, Charles Norton III and wife Sandy of Waterloo, John P. Norton and wife Annie of Mount Holly and Mathew M. Norton of Medford Lakes; a granddaughter, Colleen D’Arcy and husband, Christopher, of Jacobstown and five great-granddaughters.
   Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Andrew’s Church, Jobstown, with the Rev. Dave Schecker officiating.
   Burial was in Juliustown Methodist Cemetery.
Thomas S. Herbert

   BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP — Thomas S. Herbert, 87, died Nov. 13 at Virtua-Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Mount Holly.
   Born in Crosswicks, he lived in Mount Holly before moving to the Masonic Home of New Jersey 11 years ago.
   He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Mount Holly Lodge 14 F&AM.
   Husband of the late Mary A. Herbert, he is survived by nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held at the Masonic Home Chapel.
   Burial was in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Mount Holly.
   Arrangements were by the Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
