Denise Johnson

   Denise A. Johnson, 50, of Lawrence, died Monday, Dec. 17, at home.
   Born in Harlem in New York City, she was a former resident of West Windsor and had lived in Lawrence three years.
   She was a graduate of the Bronx School of Science and Vassar College. Mrs. Johnson received her M.E. from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.B.A. from Wharton Business School.
   She was the president of Jack & Jill of America Middlesex County Chapter, a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for the Advancement of Mental Health and Women’s Health Matters, Women’s Health Organization of New Jersey.
   Mrs. Johnson was the president of JDI Associates. She was a consultant to Merrill Lynch in Jersey City, writing policies and procedures.
   Daughter of the late William C. and Myrna Dotson Love, she is survived by her husband, Jack Johnson III; two sons, Jamal David Johnson and Kobie Jawara Johnson; two daughters, Maisha Ayanna Johnson and Shauri Annselle Johnson; three grandchildren, Aaron William Johnson, Avery King Johnson and Ja’ Kai Terrell Johnson; a brother, William Love; and four sisters, Nancy Love, Judith Wright, Maxine Gordon and Jeanette Murell.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge. There will be no calling hours.
