Monmouth sheriff thanks supporters; renews pledge to work hard
During the past six years, it has been my distinct honor and privilege to serve as the Monmouth County Sheriff. During that time, I’ve dedicated myself to serving the residents of Monmouth County full time as their sheriff.
This administration will continue to pursue an agency-wide "Commitment to Excellence" for the benefit of every man and woman in this county. Of the 3,095 sheriff’s offices in the United States, we are the only office to achieve accreditation from national auditing agencies for four distinct areas of operation: law enforcement, corrections, correctional health care, and communications.
National accreditation means you are one of the very best and it’s tangible evidence to the public that this agency is run in a professional manner utilizing the most current practices and techniques available.
I’m very proud of the progress we’ve made during the past six years and realize that none of these achievements were done alone. This has been a team effort from top to bottom. The 689 dedicated men and women who work with me at the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office deserve the lion’s share of the credit.
Serving as sheriff has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life. I wish to offer a heartfelt thank you to the residents of Monmouth County for the trust and support they have shown by returning me to office for another three years.
During the new term, I will continue working full time to ensure that Monmouth County remains a great place to live, work and raise a family. Again, thank you very much for your trust with this important responsibility and may God’s blessings be with you during the coming holiday season.
