20 Bloustein Scholars named at Montgomery

   The Montgomery High School Guidance Department and the Garden State Scholarship Program have announced the 2002-2003 recipients of the Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished and Urban Scholars awards.
   Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars are students who rank in the top 10 percent of their class or who score a minimum of 1,260 on the SATs at the end of their junior year.
   This year’s recipients are Montgomery High School seniors Meredith Alley, Stephanie Cavagnaro-Wong, Jonathan Chu, Patrick Delahoy, Timothy Gamache, Stephen Goldberger, Alison Harris, Annie Lee, Justine Lee, Adam McCarthy, Lauren Molloy, Rula Nassar, Kathryn Onka, Wei Ouyang, Rishi Roongta, Jessica Rosenberg, Caitlin Ryan, K. Rebecca Scott, Rachael Stutzman and Shendi Wang.
   Nearly 4,600 Distinguished Scholars received award offers for the coming academic year, including an offer of $1,000. These scholars average SAT scores of 662 on verbal and 689 on math.
