The Old Bridge Elks Lodge No. 2229 would like to thank the two first-grade classes from Carpenter School for helping us with our annual food drive. Their generosity was endless as they donated 400 food items.
This food was given to 30 needy families in Old Bridge, and they were able to enjoy a hearty meal during the holiday season.
We would also like to thank the two teachers, Mrs. Rosenblum and Mrs. Keating, who coordinated the food drive.
Through their guidance, they helped the students realize that giving is just as important as receiving. These two young educators are an asset to the community.
Every year, the Elks try to help needy families, but our task would be difficult without the help of these thoughtful tiny tots.
Thank you.
