AJC director to speak at Jewish Center program

   David A. Harris, national executive director of The American Jewish Committee, will speak 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Jewish Center, 435 Nassau St., Princeton.
   During a "Town Hall Meeting," Mr. Harris will synthesize the opinions and strategies of the American, Israeli and European governments, the United Nations, the global terrorism network and what this means for supporters of Israel and American Jews.
Mr. Harris recently returned from a year in Europe, where he served in Geneva as chairman of UN Watch, the AJC Institute that monitors the treatment of Israel at the United Nations.
   The program is free and open to the community.
   The American Jewish Committee, founded in 1906, is the pioneer human relations organization dedicated to protecting the rights and freedoms of Jews throughout the world.
