John B. Eichinger, 97, died Friday at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Germany, he was an area resident more than 65 years.
He managed the farm for St. Michael’s Orphanage 21 years and was a partner in Eichinger-Klevze Farm 15 years.
He was a member of St. Alphonsus Church more than 65 years and an usher more than 10 years.
Mr. Eichinger also was a member of the Hopewell Valley Leisure Club.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Murphy Eichinger; two sons, John B. Jr. of Hopewell and James J. of Lambertville; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Catherine Klevze of Lawrenceville; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Alphonsus Church, 54 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.
Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. until departure for church Tuesday at Crowell Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.
