Once again we are grateful to all of the people who donated to our program, Adopt-A-Family. This year, 28 families with a total of 101 children in our community had a better holiday because people were still willing to give.
We were concerned that donations this year would not be the same, but much to our surprise, people were more giving than ever.
This program continues to grow with the help of the volunteers from the South River Elementary School PTA. A special thank you to the South River Fire Department and South River Patrolman’s Benevolent Association Local No. 62 for all their support for the children of our community.
To all of the people who extend outside this small town, thank you for making a difference.
