New Egypt Elks Lodge No. 2457 is hosting a bus trip to the Hilton hotel and casino in Atlantic City on Feb. 17. Tickets are $18 with an $11 coin return, or if anyone wants to enjoy a great buffet, they can purchase a $28 ticket with an $11 coin return and a $10 buffet ticket. The bus will leave the lodge parking lot at 11 a.m. and will leave Atlantic City at approximately 6 p.m. To make reservations call the lodge at (609) 758-8700.

Learn to play bridge

at community school

Registration is now in progress for the Lakewood Community School-sponsored class "Bridge-Standard American Bidding System." The system will be completely defined together with three common bidding conventions. Class is scheduled to commence on Feb. 6 in the Administration Building, 655 Princeton Ave., Lakewood, from 1-2:30 p.m. for eight weeks. Comedy show and gift

auction set for Feb. 9

The Catholic Community of St. Mary of the Lake Church and Holy Family School in Lakewood has announced a comedy show and gift auction will be held on Feb. 9 from 7-10 p.m. Featured comedian will be Paul Venier. The show will be held at The Strand Theater, Clifton Avenue, Lakewood. Advanced tickets are $15 per person. There will be assigned seating so attendees are asked to book parties together. Tickets are available at The Strand Theatre box office at (732) 905-5443. All proceeds benefit the Catholic community of St. Mary of the Lake, and Holy Family School.

Computer class to be

offered in Lakewood

Registration is in progress for the "Computers for Beginners" class offered by the Lakewood Community School. The course is specifically designed for the adult with little or no knowledge of computers. Class is scheduled for Feb. 26 and March 5. Class size is limited. Details: (732) 905-3685.

Italian American Club to host Super Bowl party

The Central Jersey Italian American Club will be having its annual Super Bowl Sunday event at the clubhouse, Christo-pher Columbus Boulevard, off West County Line Road in Jackson, on Feb. 3 beginning at 1 p.m. A $5 donation will be collected. Food will be provided all day long.
