Emily V. Moran
Service Friday at 11 a.m.

   Emily V. Moran, 90, of Hopewell Borough died Monday at her home.
   Born in Hopewell, she was a lifelong resident.
   Mrs. Moran was a registered nurse and a graduate of McKinley Hospital School of Nursing. She was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
   Wife of the late Peter Warren Moran and sister of the late Hazel Smith and Irvin Van Nest, she is survived by: a son and daughter-in-law, William and Carol Moran of Princeton; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Marty Higgins of North Hampton, N.H.; and son and daughter-in-law, Irvin and Becky Moran of Midlothian, Va.; a cousin, Rena Robbins of Hopewell; grandchildren, Marc and wife Meredith Moran of Hopewell; Natalie Moran of Princeton; Valerie Pedone and Dianna Higgins of Massachusetts; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Moran of Hopewell and Maggie Pedone of Massachusetts.
   The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. (correction of copy in actual HVN) at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
   Friends may call today (Thursday) from 6-8 p.m. at the Cromwell Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.
   Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Robert Kerr
   Robert S. Kerr, 47, formerly of Lawrence died Tuesday, Jan. 29.
   Born in Harrisburg, Pa., he had resided in St. John, the U.S. Virgin Islands for 23 years and recently moved to LaGrange, Ill.
   Mr. Kerr was a licensed architect and builder.
   He was a 1972 graduate of Lawrence High School, a 1974 graduate of Mercer County Community College and a 1977 graduate of the Pratt Institute.
   Son of the late George T. Kerr and brother of the late Jeffrey W. Kerr, he is survived by two sons, Kessler and Ian Kerr, both of Woodbridge, Ill., his mother, Lorraine Kerr of Lawrence; a sister and brother-in-law, Jodi and Bill Harley of Hopewell; two nieces; a nephew; an uncle; and two cousins.
   A memorial service was held Feb. 9.
   Interment service was held in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell.
