MILDRED RILEY COLGAN BOLDIZAR, 88, of South River died Feb. 8 in Cranbury Care Center, Monroe. Her first husband, Thomas Colgan, died in 1947, and her second husband, Stephen Boldizar, died in 1970. Surviving are a son, Stephen Boldizar of South River; a daughter, Patricia Wilczynski of East Brunswick; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in St. James Cemetery, Jamesburg.

BERNICE WADDINGTON CARTER, 87, of Helmetta died Feb. 8 in Pinebrook Care Center, Manalapan. Surviving are a son, Robert Carter of Helmetta; and two grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

GEORGE J. GLINKA, 69, of East Brunswick, formerly of South River, died Feb. 10 at home. Prior to his retirement in 2001, he was employed as an electrician with the East Brunswick Board of Education for 24 years. Surviving are his wife, Pauline Golias Glinka; two sons, Kenneth of Pipersville, Pa., and John of East Brunswick; a daughter, Cathy DeMarco of Spotswood; and eight grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on Feb. 14 at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. DANIEL KESSLER, 64, of Englishtown died Feb. 5 in Aruba. Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Welkis Kessler; two daughters, Cheryl DuBois of Tennessee and Elizabeth Aerts of Monroe; a brother, Edwin Kessler of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Temple Shaari Emeth, Manalapan. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. FRED KORNACKI, 77, of South River died Feb. 8 at home. His wife, Frances, died in 1993. Surviving are a son, James of South River; and a daughter, Donna Kornacki Green of Highland Park. JULIA M. CIASNOHA LUNSKI, 82, of South River died Feb. 10 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Edward, died in 1984. Surviving are two sons, Thomas J., at home, and Edward of Little River, S.C.; two daughters, Patricia Kimball of Monroe and Gail Mularz of South River; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. EDWARD C. ROED, 81, of East Brunswick died Feb. 8 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Solvang Roed; two sons, Steven of East Brunswick and Douglas, at home; a daughter, Janice Roed, at home; and two grandchildren. EDNA SUDNICK, 88, of South River died Feb. 5 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. THEOPHIL P. BARANOWSKI, 76, of Sayreville died Feb. 9 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Annette Nawalany Baranowski; two sons, Edward F. Baranowski of Sayreville and Barry J. Baranowski of Maine; a daughter, Annette "Sissy" Hockenjos of Sayreville; a brother, Alfred Baranowski of Perth Amboy; two sisters, Pauline Kokoszka and Frances Cygan, both of South River; and two grandsons. MARGARET KONDAS DICKSON, 90, of Vero Beach, Fla., died Feb. 4 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement, she was a secretary at Metuchen High School. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Dickson. A daughter, Cathleen Bryn of South River, died on Jan. 19 as the result of an automobile accident in North Carolina. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Rees of Vero Beach; two grandchildren, Shawn Bryn and Jennifer Bryn, both of South River; two nieces; and a nephew. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

HELEN KAROCY VARKOLY, 87, of South Plainfield, formerly of Old Bridge and East Brunswick, died Feb. 8 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Her husband, Stephen, died in 1985. Surviving are two sons, George of Piscataway and Peter of Newton; a sister, Rose Yuhas of Fairfield, Conn.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

ROBERT M. WYSIEKIERSKI, 38, of East Brunswick died Feb. 5 as the result of injuries sustained at work. He was employed as a mechanic for Rex Lumber, Manalapan, for 16 years. Surviving are his wife, Sandryn Taylor Wysiekierski; a son, Kyle Taylor, at home; two daughters, Rose Taylor and Lili Anne Wysiekierski, also at home; a brother, Ron of the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold; a sister, Danusia Brandstetter of Portland, Ore; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol Taylor and William Ralston; his grandmother-in-law, Sophie Christian; five brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. RAYMOND JOHN HOFFMAN, 79, of South Amboy died Feb. 10 at home. Surviving are his wife, Grace Mosinak Hoffman; three daughters, Nancy Pavich, Grace Hoffman and Carol Hoffman, all of South Amboy; two sisters, Ann Kolb of Sayreville and Clara Conroy of South Amboy; two grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. FLORENCE MINK, 74, of the Cheesequake Village section of Old Bridge died Feb. 6 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Her husband, Walter Mink, died in 1988. Surviving are two daughters, Janet Dougherty of Aberdeen and Susan Caporaso of Matawan; a son, John Mink of Hamilton; a brother, William Wiedmuller; two sisters, Doris DiPaula and Margaret Ryan; and two grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Lawrence Church, Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

GLENN R. MADELINO, 41, of Manahawkin, formerly of Sayreville, died Feb. 10 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Surviving are his mother, Carol Madelino Colino, with whom he lived; a daughter, Justina Madelino of North Carolina; a brother, Guy Madelino of Sayreville; a niece and nephew; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. A Mass is planned for 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 14 at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

CATHERINE FRIEDMAN MAHER, 91, of Sayreville died Feb. 8 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, John, died in 1978. Surviving are a son, John of Sayreville; two daughters, Catherine Hester of Cranford and Dorothy Dunn of South Amboy; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
