Looking for a new restaurant to try? "An Evening of Good Taste" will offer diners an opportunity to sample the specialties of more than 20 of the area’s best chefs on March 11 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Greystone Manor at Van’s Freehold Inn, Freehold. The event is sponsored by the Young Leadership Initiative of Women’s American ORT.
The participating chefs will prepare their specialties, ranging from appetizers to entrees to desserts, and the awarding of certificates in several categories will be chosen by the guests in a secret ballot.
The following restaurants, caterers and specialty stores are among the participants; Apana, Manalapan; Creative Caterers, Ocean; The Cutting Board, Manalapan; Marielle’s on Main, Freehold; Fiddleheads, Jamesburg; Greystone Manor, Freehold; Greystone Restaurant, Freehold; Cambridge Inn/ Camelot Caterers, Spotswood; Twinings Tea; Grosvenor Marketing, Clifton; Trattoria Portobello, Freehold; All American Deli, Manalapan; Levy’s Kosher Pizza & Pasta, Manalapann.
The event will also include entertainment by Music Express, and raffles for such items as two-night stays in New York, gift certificates and other prizes. The event is open to the public.
