Monday deadline for school board election filing

   Monday at 4 p.m. is the deadline for filing nominating petitions for seats on local school boards of education in New Jersey.
   There are three three-year terms available at South Hunterdon Regional High School and Lambertville, West Amwell and Delaware elementary schools. There is one three-year term available at Stockton Elementary School.
   At South, the seats available are held now by Douglas Coleman, representing Lambertville, Kathleen Brown, representing West Amwell, and Morley Panyko representing Lambertville. As of Tuesday, no one had filed.
   In Lambertville, the seats available are held now by Ed Berchtold, Steve Wolock and Mary Shurts. As of Tuesday, Mr. Berchtold and Mr. Wolock filed for re-election.
   In West Amwell, the terms of Jeannie Aversa, James Hurly and Rob Tomenchok will expire. As of Tuesday, Mr. Tomenchok had filed for re-election.
   In Delaware Township, the seats available are held now by Cynthia Sulewski, Fred Strackhouse and Kate Bailey. As of Tuesday, only Ms. Bailey had filed for re-election.
   Finally, in Stockton, the seat held now by Thomas J. McKenna is available. No one had filed for the seat as of Tuesday.
