Church is an asset to local family

   I would like to thank The Lawrence Ledger for its editorial about the Phillips House and add my voice to the support for Westerly Road Church. The church and its members were a crucial source of support when I returned to Lawrence after college to begin work and when I dated the lady who is now my wife. My wife grew up in Lawrence, attending Westerly. The church continues to be an encouragement in our marriage and in the growth of our two daughters. We hope the church will be considered to be an asset to Lawrence Township.
