Roast beef supper
Hedding Methodist Church will hold their annual roast beef supper on Feb. 23 with seatings at 5 and 6:30 p.m. Reservations are necessary. For ticket information and reservations call (609) 324-0729. Profits from the supper benefit the mission program of the church.
Guest speaker

Board of Ed
petitions
The deadline for filing nominating petitions to run for three full-term positions on the Springfield Township Board of Education is 4 p.m., Feb. 25. The election is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16.

Book group
The popular book group will discuss "The Family Orchard" by Naomi Eve, 8 p.m., Feb. 27 at the home of Bobbie Taylor, 357 Prince St.
NARFE meeting
The National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 127, will celebrate its 50th anniversary at noon, Feb. 28 in St. Mark United Methodist Church, Paxson Avenue, Hamilton Square. All federal employees and retirees are invited to attend. For information call 291-1194.
Tricky tray
The Columbus Home and School Association is sponsoring its annual tricky tray (formerly Chinese Auction) 6 p.m., March 1 at the Northern Burlington Regional High School cafeteria. Drawings will begin promptly at 8 p.m. The $3 donation at the door will include the first sheet of tickets, a door prize ticket, and free refreshments. No one under the age of 18 will be admitted.
Oyster supper
Ticket orders for the annual oyster supper should be placed by March 2. Sponsored by Bordentown First Presbyterian Church, the all-you-can-eat event is scheduled to be held 1 to 7 p.m., March 9 at the church, 420 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown. For ticket prices and more information call 298-1250.
