The Matawan Recreation Commission will hold its annual egg hunt March 23 at 10 a.m. (rain date March 30) at Terhune Park, Main Street. The hunt is for children age 1-4, and age 5. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each age group.

Easter egg hunt slated in Middletown March 23

The Middletown Township Department of Parks & Recreation will hold its annual "Easter Eggstravananza" March 23 at 10 a.m. (rain date March 24). The hunt will be on the "great lawn" at Croydon Hall, 900 Leonardville Road, Leonardo section of Middletown.

The free hunt is open to children age 8 and younger, with children separated by age groups to search for prize-winning eggs. All children will receive a plastic egg filled with a small candy, and the Easter Bunny will be posing for pictures, so parents are encouraged to bring cameras.

The hunt is for Middletown Township residents only, and no registration is required.

‘Breakfast With the Easter Bunny’ March 23

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Keyport Fire Patrol will host "Breakfast With the Easter Bunny" March 23 from 9 a.m. to noon at the firehouse at Waverly and First streets. Cost is $6, $3 for children age 10 and younger.

Each child will be given an Easter basket, and the Easter bunny will be available for photographs.
