My office has been getting many calls inquiring about the property tax reimbursement (PTR) application deadline. For your information, the deadline for filing a PTR application has been moved from March 15 to May 1. Property tax reimbursement applications are available at my legislative office.
In order to be eligible for the PTR program, you must meet various requirements that are listed in the application booklet. If you are single, your total income can be as much as $37,174 in 2000, and $38,475 in 2001. If you are married, your total combined income can be as much as $45,582 in 2000, and $47,177 in 2001. Reimbursement checks should be sent out on or before July 15.
