Ladies group to meet in Millstone Township
The ladies of St. Joseph’s Church of Perrineville in Millstone will hold its next monthly meeting at 8 p.m. on April 2 at the parish hall located on Stillhouse Road. For more information e-mail [email protected].
Historic gristmill to hold weekend programs
Historic Walnford, the historic district at the heart of Crosswicks Creek Park in Upper Freehold, features a late 19th century operating gristmill.
Described as "one of the best survival examples of a complete millstone flour mill in the Eastern United States," according to a press release, the gristmill will be operating for demonstrations, starting April 6.
Demonstrations will be held on most weekends through mid-November. Visitors will have the opportunity to see how corn was processed.
Open year round, Historic Walnford’s hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Yardville area ‘MOMS Club’ slates meeting
The "MOMS Club," an international support group for at-home mothers, offers several activities, including: special programs for mothers, play groups for children, park play-days, baby-sitting co-op, arts and crafts, and get-togethers for the whole family.
All meetings and most activities are held during the day, and mothers may bring their children to anything the club does.
The group holds meetings the second Monday of every month at the Raymond Dwier Community Center at 9:30 a.m.

Interior design course offered in Millstone
Millstone Community Education is offering an Interior Design course.
This five-week course covers colors, fabrics, window treatments, lighting and accessories. Field trips and guest speakers will round out the course.
The course will be held Wednesdays, beginning April 10, at the Millstone Middle School, Clarksburg-Millstone Road, Clarksburg section of Millstone, room 162, from 7:30-9:15 p.m. Fee for the class is $72. For more information, call the middle school at (732) 446-6802, ext. 17.
Millstone announces class offerings in April
Millstone Community Education is offering the following classes at the Millstone Middle School, Clarksburg-Millstone Road, Clarksburg section of Millstone, during the month of April:
• April 8 – 7-9 p.m., Hypnosis for Weight Control, room 174, Fee: $32 and $15 materials payable to instructor at class;
• April 9 – 7-8 p.m., Long Range Financial Planning for College, Fee: $12; and
• April 9 – 6:30-9:30 p.m., The Great American Debt Opportunity seminar, room 166, Fee: $35 per person or $50 per couple, plus $7 materials fee.
