Pamela C. Matis

   EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — Pamela C. Matis, 55, died March 21 at Pocono Medical Center.
   Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she lived in East Windsor from 1982 until moving to East Stroudsburg two years ago.
   Mrs. Matis was an administrative assistant for the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, retiring in 1984 after 13 years.
   She was a member of Temple Israel, East Stroudsburg, and a former member of Temple Beth El, East Windsor. She was a member of the Lupus Foundation of Northeast Pennsylvania for two years.
   She owned four dogs and was a member of her local dog rescue organization.
   Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ann Crane, she is survived by her husband, Terrance Matis; two daughters, Alexandra and Stephanie Matis; a brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Roberta Crane of Boca Raton, Fla.; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Matis-Caternia; two nieces, Jocelyne Goldstein and Rhonda Demarest.
   Funeral was Sunday at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown, with Rabbi Jay Kornsgold officiating.
   Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery, Monmouth Junction.
