The deadline for filing nominating petitions for the June 4 primary is Monday, April 8, at 4 p.m.
There are eight seats up for grabs in the area.
In Delaware Township, there are two three-year terms available now held by Kenneth Johnson and James Mathews.
In Lambertville, two three-year terms are available now held by John McManus and Cynthia Ege. Mr. McManus has been on the City Council since it changed to that form of government from a three-person City Commission in January 1983.
In Stockton, Mayor Gigi Celli’s four-year term is about to expire as are two three-year terms now held by Gary Dailey and Joan Haberle.
And in West Amwell, the three-year term now held by Nance Palladino will be available.
