HIGHTSTOWN Helen Leshin Goldstein, 76, died Sunday at Meadow Lakes.
Born in New York, she lived in Hightstown since 1947.
She was a secretary for Metro Life Insurance Co. in New York for four years and was a member and president of the Sisterhood at Beth El Synagogue, and a member of East Windsor Hadassah, Wives of the Retired Officers Association, East Windsor Autumn Club and Scarborough Senior Center of East Windsor. She was a Red Cross volunteer at Watson Air Force Hospital at Fort Dix.
She is survived by her husband, David Goldstein; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry M. and Karen Goldstein of Howell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Joseph Anghelone of Columbus and Marion T. and Peter Mnych of East Windsor; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Rosalyn Leshin of Boca Raton, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah Anghelone, Jay Goldstein and Rebecca Mnych.
Funeral was Tuesday at A.S. Cole Funeral Home, Cranbury, with Rabbi Jay Kornsgold of Beth El Synagogue officiating.
Burial was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Shiva will be observed with a minion at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 603 Summit St., Hightstown.
