JAMESBURG — Another man has been arrested in connection with a drug sale to undercover Jamesburg officers.
On March 21, Umi Yearwood, 22, of Buckelew Avenue in Monroe was charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana, said Jamesburg Police Sgt. Paul Karkoska.
Sgt. Karkoska said Mr. Yearwood had assisted in a sale of a small amount of marijuana.
Mr. Yearwood is the fifth person — including Herman Gibbs, Sherod Roach, Hasheem Clayton and Earl Riggins — arrested by the Jamesburg police in connection with drug sales to undercover officers.
The arrest of Mr. Yearwood is a continuation of an ongoing undercover investigation by the police in areas of the borough with high drug activity.
Mr. Yearwood posted $20,000 bail, said Sgt. Karkoska.
