The Monmouth Civic Chorus, Red Bank, will present a benefit concert "This Great American Land" May 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Rumson Presbyterian Church, 4 E. River Road.
Donation is $30 per person, which includes a reception. Requested attire is red, white and blue. The concert will feature numbers from musicals from Oklahoma! to Ragtime.
The chorus will also present a concert featuring Mozart’s "Serenade for Strings" and Handel’s "Dixit Dominus" June 1 at 8 p.m. The concert will be at Holmdel High School, 36 Crawfords Corner Road.
The concert will also feature the premiere of composer Paul Moravec’s "Songs of Love and War," and choral selections by the N.J. Chamber Singers children’s chorus.
Tickets are $25, $20 for senior citizens and students, and $15 per ticket for groups of 10 or more. Tickets ordered before May 21 will receive a $2 discount.
