EAST WINDSOR — The Twin Rivers Homeowners Association board of directors is short one member and is taking steps to remedy that.
The nine-member board was left with a position to fill after Warren Kross resigned last month. Mr. Kross has moved out of the community.
In order to fill the position vacated by Mr. Kross’ departure, the board of directors is asking for residents interested in serving to come forward by May 24. According to Twin Rivers bylaws, the board is charged with the duty of appointing someone to fill out the term of a departed board member. Mr. Kross’ term expires in December 2003.
Homeowners association administrator Jennifer Ward said residents interested in serving on the board should submit a letter of interest to the Twin Rivers Community Trust office on Twin Rivers Drive by May 24. The board will conduct interviews of the candidates before making a decision.
Ms. Ward said the board has not set a timeline for making an appointment.
"It depends on the interest we see," Ms. Ward explained.
