Caroline C. Hogan, 88, died Friday, May 17, in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong Hawthorne resident before moving to West Palm Beach in 1998.
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church, Hawthorne.
Daughter of the late Catherine and Henry Scherer and wife of the late William L. Hogan, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William D. and Elaine of Lawrence, Richard and Judy of St. Augustine, Fla., and Kevin and Sharon of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Maureen Hogan of West Palm Beach; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Moore, Kelly Marullo and William, Christopher, Erin, Kevin, Katherine and Richard Hogan; and three great-granddaughters, Savannah, Audra and Brooke.
The funeral will be private.
