Mildred Curtis Tredick
Mildred "Millie" Curtis Tredick died Friday at home. Born in Trenton, she lived in Pennington for 60 years.
Mrs. Tredick had been a secretary for the Gallup Organization, Princeton. She was a 45-year member of Pennington Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon. She volunteered with the Pennington Library and The Medical Center at Princeton and Merwick Care Center for 20 years. She was a former member of Pennington Women’s Club and Pennington Kleio Club.
Wife of the late Trafton Tredick, daughter of the late Maurice and Eleanor Curtis and sister of the late John E. Curtis, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Trafton and Karen Tredick of Denver; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Charles Schaub of Pennington; and four grandchildren, Jennifer and Catherine Tredick and J.D. and Scott Schaub.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at Pennington Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. William McQuoid, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Pennington Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.

William Earl Hubbard
William Earl Hubbard, 93, died Sunday at the Merwick Unit of The Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Stoutsburg, he was a longtime Pennington resident.
He attended Hopewell public schools and graduated from the School of Industrial Arts in Trenton. Mr. Hubbard retired from Rockwell Manufacturing Co. in Hopewell after 30 years and worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Hopewell. A gifted violinist and artist, he taught music at Hopewell Elementary School and played in the Mahlon Bishop Dance Band. He was the first violinist for Alma White College Orchestra in North Jersey. He was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church of Pennington, serving as a former trustee, and as a member of the Steward Board, the choir and lay organizations.
Son of the late Herbert and Matilda Hoagland Hubbard and husband of the late Florence Cain Hodnett Hubbard, he is survived by a daughter, Claudia Hubbard of Hopewell; a son and daughter-in-law, William E. Jr. and Daisy D. Hubbard of Hopewell; a sister, Leona Stewart of Princeton; his former caregiver, Mary McCall of Trenton; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. today (Thursday) at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Pennington, 248 S. Main St., with the Rev. Tom Hills, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Stoutsburg Cemetery, Hopewell.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until service Thursday at the funeral home.

Audria Ann Betstock
Audria Ann Stapperfenne Betstock, 55, died Monday at Rolling Hills Care Center, Lebanon. Born in Newark, she was a longtime Pennington and Flemington area resident.
She worked for Highland Packaging in Bridgewater.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Audria and Wilfred Hildebrand of Pennington; her best friend, Nelson Pierson of Flemington; a brother, Peter Stapperfenne of California; a sister and brother-in-law, Cindy M. and Bill Butler of Hopewell; a son, Michael Welch; 10 nieces and nephews; and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., with clergy from St. Alphonsus Church, Hopewell, officiating.
Burial will be in Harbourton Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today (Thursday) at the funeral home.
Norman D. Shack
Norman D. Shack, 71, died Friday at The Medical Center at Princeton, Princeton Borough. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Pennington 30 years.
He was a 1951 graduate of Brooklyn College of Pharmacy and a registered pharmacist. Before his retirement six years ago, Mr. Shack owned Penlar Pharmacy, Lawrenceville, since 1989. He previously had worked 10 years as a medical writer with Squibb Corp.
Son of the late Michael and Nettie Shack, he is survived by his wife, Rina Ginsberg Shack; two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Cindy Shack of Titusville and Dr. Jonathan and Noelle Shack of Newtown, Mass.; a daughter and spouse, Dr. Susan Shack and Dr. Kathe Sackler of Weston, Conn.; a brother, Edward Shack of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, David, Steven and Caleb Shack and Benjamin and Julia Shack Sackler.
Funeral was Wednesday. Burial was in Princeton Cemetery.
