UPPER FREEHOLD Dorothy M. "Dot" Bailey, 80, died Monday at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.
Born in Cumberland, Md., she lived in Hightstown before moving to Cream Ridge 32 years ago.
She worked in the admissions department at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson and had been a telephone operator for RCA Corp. in Hightstown.
She was a member of Church of the Assumption in New Egypt, Jensen’s Community Club, the Young at Hearts in Cookstown and was a former member of the New Egypt Elks.
She is survived by her husband, Harry "Duke" Bailey; a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Vicki Miller of Frostburg, Md.; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Barbara Weisenmiller of Cumberland; three sisters, Helen Terbecki of Cream Ridge, Ann Clites of Middlesex and Jean Connelley of Cumberland; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday at Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Joseph Farrell officiating.
Burial was in Assumption Cemetery, New Egypt.
