Joseph Clark Hawley, 67, died Sunday, May 26, at his home in Jamesburg.
He worked for E.R. Squibb and Sons in East Brunswick and retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb. He previously served in the Army. He was a coach of the Jugglers in the North Brunswick Youth Soccer program for many years. He also was a member of the Cook College Organic Garden Club for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Anne-Marie Hawley; two daughters, Susan M. of Jamesburg and Virginia L. Conover and her husband Christopher of Monroe; two sons, Joseph C. Hawley Jr. and his wife Tracy of Bayville, and George F. Hawley and his wife Jenifer of South River; a brother, Frederick E. Hawley and his wife Ruth of Tuckerton; nine grandchildren, Christian of Jamesburg, Danielle, Laurin and Joseph C. Hawley III, all of Bayville; George F. Hawley Jr., Jeffrey M. Hawley, Stephanie M. Hawley, Jonathan P. Hawley and Emmy C. Hawley, all of South River; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Route 9, Old Bridge. Cremation was private.
Arrangements were by the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
