ADELAIDE R. MOLINARI TOMASELLO, 74, of Matawan died June 8 at University Hospital of Newark. Born in Newark, she resided there until moving to Matawan 54 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of and member of the Altar & Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She was also a member of St. Clement’s Seniors, Matawan, and the Minisink Social Club. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Molinari. She is survived by her husband, Victor Tomasello Sr. of Matawan; two sons, Victor Tomasello Jr. of Matawan, and Stephen Tomasello of Shrewsbury; her daughter, Lynn Martin of Matawan; her sister, Janet Roberts of Aberdeen; two brothers, John Molinari of Toms River, and Anthony Molinari of Kearny; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be June 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be June 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.

PATRICIA M. WALSH, 61, of Aberdeen died June 10 at home. Born in New York, she resided there until moving to Aberdeen 21 years ago. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Martin J. Walsh Sr. of Aberdeen; five sons, Martin J. Walsh Jr. of Aberdeen, James F. Walsh of Brooklyn, N.Y., Thomas W. Walsh and Joseph P. Walsh, both of Aberdeen, and Sean P. Walsh of Keyport; three daughters, Pattyann Hansen of Illinois, Dawn L. Pileggi of Keyport, and Heather A. Walsh of Keyport; five grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be June 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered June 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, Matawan. LAURIE ELEANOR STEVENS, 63, or Ashland City, Tenn., and formerly Aberdeen, drowned April 1 after her car was swept away while crossing a creek in Tennessee. Born in Paterson, she resided in Aberdeen for 30 years, prior to moving to Ashland City eight years ago. She was a volunteer and activist and a founding member of 180, formerly The Women’s Center of Monmouth County, Hazlet. She was an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church, Lincroft section of Middletown, and the First Unitarian Universalist Church, Nashville, Tenn. She was also a co-founder of New Approaches to Wellness, Red Bank, and program director of Manna House, Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen. She is survived by her husband, Ira Stevens; her daughter, Beth Thompson; and four grandchildren, all of Ashland City, Tenn.; her son, Mike Stevens of Nashville, Tenn.; and her sister, Mary Johnson of Puget Sound, Wash. MARGE J. HOLLAND, 69, of Middletown died June 3 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Jersey City, she resided there until moving to Middletown 50 years ago. She was a secretary for Sears, Middletown, for 25 years. Prior to that, she worked for ShopRite, Middletown. She was a communicant of St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Middletown. She was a volunteer for Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel, as well as a supporter of the American Cancer Society. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Doreen Holland of Rumson; her step-grandson, Keith Mazurek Jr.; and her step-granddaughter, Michele Mazurek.

CORINTHA MONTELEONE, 81, of Middletown died June 5 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Parlin prior to moving to Middletown two and a half years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed time with her family and trips to Atlantic City. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Monteleone, in 2000. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles and Grace Monteleone Jr. of Island Park, N.Y., and John Monteleone of New York City; a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Angelo Licata of Middletown; a brother, Michael Fornaro of Brooklyn; two sisters, Florence D’Atto of Brooklyn, and Ann Palumbo of Staten Island, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

BARBARA K. BUTASH, 56, of Manalapan died June 6 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Scranton, Pa., she lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Manalapan 30 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan. She is survived by her husband, Stephen; a son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Andrea of Aberdeen; a daughter, Anisa Butash of Tinton Falls; and a twin brother, E. John Fedor of York, Pa. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. SOPHIE BROCKMAN, 75, of Marlboro died May 31 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was a resident of Marlboro for the past 40 years. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. II, in 2000. She is survived by two sons, Robert C. III of Jackson and James J. of Millstone; a daughter, Joan Giblock of Knoxville, Tenn.; and 11 grandchildren. The funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Church.
