Joseph C. Brenner, 64, of Monroe, died Saturday, July 6, at home.
Mr. Brenner was born in New Brunswick and lived in Jamesburg before moving to Monroe in 1971.
For the past 24 years he owned Brenner Drainage and Excavating Co., in Monroe. He was an Army Veteran. Mr. Brenner was a congregant of the Old Tennet Presbyterian Church, Tennet.
He is survived by his wife, June; two sons, Joseph C. of Manalapan, and Glen and his Wife, Jennifer, of Freehold; a daughter, Janice of Monroe; a brother, Thomas of Parlin; a granddaughter, Cassandra Brenner and a grandchild on the way.
Services were held Wednesday, July 10, at Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. The Rev. Hugh McKenzie officiated. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Leukemia Society of America, 45 Springfield Ave., Springfield, N.J. 07081.
