George A. Hritz, 85, of Kendall Park, died Wednesday, July 17, at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in Bayonne, Mr. Hritz resided in Kendall Park for the past 30 years. He retired from Texaco Corporation in 1981 after 45 years of service as a traffic manager/scale master. He served in the Navy in World War II with rank of a pharmacist mate. Mr. Hritz was a parishioner of St. Augustine of Canterbury R.C. Church in Kendall Park.
His wife, Ann, is deceased.
He is survived by two daughters, Georgeanne Landsnes of Kendall Park and Maryann Laban and her husband, Richard, of Flemington; two grandchildren, Edward Lagan and Dr. David Landsnes and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 20, at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home in Monmouth Junction. A Mass of Christian burial followed at St. Augustine R.C. Church in Kendall Park. Burial took place at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
