Plays-in-Park continues
summer musical season
Middlesex County’s summer theater, Plays-in-the-Park, will continue its 40th season of musicals with a production of Titanic, set for 8:30 p.m., Aug. 14-24, at the Stephen J. Capestro Theater in Roosevelt Park, Edison. There will be no performance Aug. 18.
The box office will open at 5:30 p.m. on performance nights. Patrons must bring a low-back lawn chair, which they may place in the outdoor seating area immediately after purchasing a ticket. Adult admission is $3. Children ages 12 and under will be admitted free of charge.
The theater, which is handicapped accessible, is located off Route 1 south, one block past the Menlo Park shopping mall.

Watershed bicycle tour
scheduled for Aug. 24
The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership will hold its second annual Water Wheels Bicycle Tour of the Lawrence Brook Watershed beginning at 9 a.m. on Aug. 24 at Milltown Borough Hall, 39 Washington Ave.
The 25-mile ride will wind through Milltown, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, South Brunswick and East Brunswick.
Participants will have a choice of leader-led rides, self-guided rides or "stop-look-listen" rides. Cue sheets will be available.
Helmets are required. Snacks will be available. The event will take place rain or shine. Fee is $5 per person.

Museum’s Big Barn Bash slated for Aug. 17
The New Jersey Museum of Agriculture, 103 College Farm Road, North Brunswick, will debut the photographic exhibit "Barnscapes: The Changing Face of Agriculture in New Jersey" at its Big Barn Bash Aug. 17 from 5-9 p.m.
The event will include food, games, contests, and line and square dancing. Admission is $8, $6 for seniors, $4 for children age 4-12, and free for children age 3 and younger.

Orientation at No. Bruns. High School Aug. 28
North Brunswick High School will hold an orientation for freshmen and new students Aug. 28 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the auditorium at the high school at Raider Road.
