The Renaissance Club, an organization affiliated with and sponsored by Congregation Etz Chaim, the Monroe Township Jewish Center, 11 Cornell Ave., invites the public to an entertainment program at 10 a.m. on Aug. 11 at the temple.

Three women club members will present a reading from The Cemetery Club, a play by Ivan Menchell. In addition, a male member of the club will sing and perform on the ukulele.

Breakfast will precede the program. Cost is $10 for temple members and $12 for nonmembers. Reservations are requested.

Knights to hold home

decor demonstration

St. Thomas the Apostle Knights of Columbus Council No. 4815 will host a Home Interiors demonstration at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 at the council home, Pine Street, off Route 18, Old Bridge. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

The event will feature contemporary and traditional items such as wall arrangements, shelves, pictures and home accessories.

Admission is free. Refreshments will be served.
