Lambertville

   Amanda McCaffrey reported damage to her vehicle while parked at her Coryell Street residence.
   Between Sept. 17 and 18, her vehicle was scratched on the driver side, front fender, continuing to the rear bumper, police said. It appeared to be done with a sharp edged item, police said.
   Sept. 22, Corey Logan of Stockton reported someone removed his Aiwa portable CD player from his vehicle.
   He was parked in the driveway of 1 Allen St. at 10:30 p.m. The player was there at that time, police said, but upon returning at 1:30 p.m., it was missing.
   Total value is $39.99.
   Sept. 22, police got a report of illegal dumping at the Lambertville Boat.
   Upon arrival, the complainant said he was putting his boat in the water and observed a large amount of car tires and other assorted trash dumped on the shoreline,
   After the trash was searched for signs of who dumped the trash there, New Jersey State park rangers were called and are following up, police said.
   Sept. 22 at 3:40 a.m., police received a report of a theft at 46 Delaware Ave.
   Elizabeth Bauer reported someone had entered her residence and removed her purse, sets of car keys and three packs of cigarettes.
   Ms. Bauer and her husband had been working on the inside of their residence when at 1 p.m., they went onto the porch to have a cigarette, police said. At 03:35 a.m., they went to have a cigarette and noticed the cigarettes were missing off the table on the porch. They went inside and saw her purse was missing along with the keys, which were on the kitchen counter, police said.
   Police received a report of glass breaking in the vicinity of 154 York St. Sept. 21 at 2:11 a.m.
   Catherine Forcellini and Melvin Parker reported seeing Mark Tompkins, 34, of New Hope earlier that day, standing about 75 feet away from their porch, staring at both of them, police said. Fearing he may return, they went inside the residence, police said.
   Police said Mr. Tompkins was advised previously not to have any contact with these victims and not to go near their residence. This was part of a no contact provision set as a bail condition on a previous harassment charge against him.
   The victims reported being awakened at approximately 2 a.m. by the sound of breaking glass. Mr. Tompkins was identified observed by Mr. Parker as throwing something over top his truck.
   On the ground, in the vicinity of the truck, a packing of Winston cigarettes were found. Ms. Forcellini said they belonged to her, and she had left them on the arm of a chair on her porch, next to a small dish she uses as an ashtray. The ashtray was located in an empty plant holder, broken into three pieces.
   Upon searching the area, Mr. Tompkins was not located, police said.
   Mr. Tompkins was charged with harassment, criminal mischief and defiant trespassing on a warrant with a $10,000 full bail provision. New Hope Police served the warrant.
