show fund-raiser slated
Brothers Helping Brothers, a fund that was started after the attack on the World Trade Center to raise money for the families of rescue workers killed in the line of duty, will hold its second annual Classic Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show on Oct. 12 at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Group organizers have decided to establish a permanent fund to help families of firefighters or emergency medical service workers who are killed or disabled in the line of duty.
Entertainment for the event will be donated by DJWW Enterprises. The show will be dedicated to the memory of DJ Wacky Wayne.
Participation donation is $20 for car or trucks, $10 for motorcycles. Shopping Spree dinner,
auction planned in E.B.
The Brunswick Women’s Connection, affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries and Christian Women’s Clubs, will hold a Dinner and Shopping Spree from 7-8:30 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the East Brunswick Chateau, Cranbury Road.
A variety of themed gift baskets will be offered during silent and live auctions.
Guest speaker Vera Velk will offer a presentation titled "Practical Priorities at the Speed of Life."
The public is welcome. Cost is $16.

Special ed parents
to hold monthly coffees
A support group of mothers in the East Brunswick and North/South Brunswick areas will sponsor a morning coffee for parents and guardians of special education students from 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 10. Future coffees are set to take place once a month during the school year.

Antiques Appraisal Fair
set at Spotswood Library
The Friends of the Spotswood Public Library will sponsor an Antiques Appraisal Fair from noon to 3 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the library, 548 Main St.
Appraisals will be conducted by Barbara’s Unique Boutique, Jamesburg.
Furniture will not be accepted. Jewelry, china, artwork and artifacts may be assessed.
