ANDREW J. NOVAK, 76, of Sayreville died Sept. 18 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Surviving are his wife, June Ware Novak; two sons, Michael of Sayreville and Paul of Upper Freehold; a daughter, JoAnne McMahon of Carrollton, Va.; two brothers, John and Stephen of Florida; three sisters, Mary Maurer of South River, Irene Zuczek and Betty Milyo of Florida; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Forest Green Park Mausoleum, Morganville section of Marlboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
GERALD WALKER, 65, of Millstone died Sept. 27 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Millstone 10 years ago. Mr. Walker was an iron worker in Manhattan before working for the Freehold Township Water Department, retiring last year. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Staten Island. Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Kristine Walker of Millstone and Jessica Baccichi of Brick; and one granddaughter. The funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, Freehold, followed by interment in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.
