A Historic Evening Ghost Tour will begin at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the East Brunswick Museum, 16 Maple St.
Tour guides dressed in period costumes will escort visitors around the neighborhood’s historic homes and share haunting tales surrounding the old houses. Refreshments will be served at the museum.
Suggested donation is $5. Proceeds will benefit the East Brunswick Museum.

psychic fair for Oct. 27
The Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post No. 253 will hold a psychic fair from 1-5 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the post home, Devoe Avenue, Spotswood.

Fall Festival for Kids
set at Sp’wood Library
The Friends of the Spotswood Public Library will host a Fall Festival for Kids from 1-4 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the library, 548 Main St.
The fund-raising event will offer face painting, storytelling, pumpkin decorating, snacks and more for children under age 10.
Admission is $5 per child. All youngsters must be prepaid and registered in order to participate in pumpkin painting. Registration is now going on at the library. A parent or guardian must remain in the library while a child takes part in the festival.
All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Library in its mission to support library programs and services.

Square dance planned
at South River temple
The Jewish Community Center of Congregation Anshe Emeth of South River, 88 Main St., will hold a square dance at 8 p.m. on Oct. 26.
A professional caller will be on hand to call the steps and instruct newcomers.
Admission is $9 per person. Temple members and nonmembers are invited. Refreshments will be included in the price of admission.

trip to Lancaster outlets
St. Bartholomew’s Columbiettes will sponsor a Nov. 2 bus trip to the Rockvale Square and Tanger outlets in Lancaster, Pa.
The bus will depart at 7:30 a.m. from St. Bartholomew’s Church, Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. Return will be at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Cost is $25 per person and includes bus transportation, a continental breakfast, snacks and discount shopping coupons.
