Health fair planned for
Nov. 23 in South Amboy

Raritan Bay Medical Center, the Parish Nursing Program at Christ Church and the South Amboy-Sayreville Rotary Club will sponsor a health and wellness fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 23 at Christ Church, 220 Main St., South Amboy.

Free flu shots and pneumonia vaccine will be offered. Individuals who would like to receive the pneumonia vaccine must be age 65 or older and must make an appointment by calling the Middlesex County Department of Health at (732) 745-3100, 2-4 p.m., Mondays-Fridays.

The day also will include free health screenings and education.

Thanksgiving eve

The Old Bridge Baptist Church, 21 Kossman St., East Brunswick, will hold a Thanksgiving eve service at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 27.

The public is welcome to give thanks and pray for the country and members of the armed forces.

Interfaith prayer service

set for Nov. 24 in O.B.

The Old Bridge Township Human Relations Commission and the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam, Musjid Baitul Hadi, will sponsor an interfaith prayer service thanksgiving from 3-5 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Musjid Baitul Hadi, 27 South St., Old Bridge.

The event is designed to promote love, brotherhood and peace and to show tolerance. Men and women of all religions and cultures are welcome.
