Dec. 7 ‘Puss in Boots’
Duet Productions will present a performance of Puss in Boots at 2 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza.
Youngsters ages 4 and up are invited to see a zany retelling of the classic story. Free tickets will be available at the library youth services desk beginning Nov. 25.

Girl Scouts will sell
cookies in E.B., N.B.
East Brunswick Girl Scout Troop No. 1186 will hold its annual cookie sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 30 in front of Toys R Us, Route 18, East Brunswick, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 1 in front of Wal-mart, Route 1, North Brunswick.
Cookies cost $3 per box. A portion of the profits will allow the Scouts to adopt a local family for the holidays.
MTSEPA to offer social
skills training seminar
Monroe Township Special Education Parent Association (MTSEPA) will hold a social skills training workshop for parents and teachers at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 in the library at Brookside School, Buckalew Avenue.
Guest speaker Paula Leib, president, New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education, will conduct a seminar focusing on improving students’ social skills through classroom activities and hands-on techniques. The public is welcome.

Carriage House Manor
sets holiday craft bazaar
Carriage House Manor Nursing, Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center, 901 Ernston Road, Morgan section of Sayreville, will hold its annual holiday craft bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 23.
Many of the holiday items to be offered are hand made by the residents. Local vendors will feature crafts and other merchandise. Still Small Voice will provide music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Lenape program set for Nov. 24 at Cheesequake
A program titled "Lenni Lenape Traditions" will begin at 1 p.m. on Nov. 24 at the Cheesequake State Park Interpretive Center, 300 Gordon Road, Old Bridge.
Participants will discover the American Indian heritage of Cheesequake and the surrounding area. Topics will include the culture, traditions and history of the Lenape. The order of the Arrow Dance Team will entertain. Various Native American foods will be offered at the Interpretive Center.
The program is open to all ages.
