   Police said they are investigating a suspicious fire at the Modern Equipment Company on Ann Street on Nov. 21.
   Police said a witness reported the fire at 10:25 p.m. when he saw flames reflecting off an abandoned building adjacent to the loading dock of the company at 15 Ann St.
   Police said the witness, William Gaynor, a volunteer firefighter with Consolidated Fire Company, removed burning wooden pallets and flammable debris from the loading dock and away from the structure.
   The fire was brought under control by Hope Hose and Consolidated fire companies before the building was damaged, said police.
   Police ask anyone with information pertaining to the fire to contact Bordentown City Police Patrolman Matthew Simmons, 298-0103, ext. 22.
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP

   Charles Runyon IV, 22, of Yardville was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana Nov. 21 when officers stopped him on Route 130 and noticed the marijuana on the dashboard, according to police.
   Officers discovered that Mr. Runyon’s driver’s license was suspended and that the passenger in the vehicle could not drive, according to police. Officers found a marijuana cigarette, or "blunt," hidden under the front passenger seat.
   Both subjects were transported to the police headquarters where Mr. Runyon admitted that the marijuana was his, police said. The passenger was not charged.
   Daryl R. Taylor, 27, West Frankfurt, Ill., was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of metal knuckles when police were called to the Days Inn on Route 206 in response to a fight, according to police.
   Officers witnessed Mr. Taylor being physically restrained by a friend of his so he could not go after other bar patrons, according to police reports.
   Police said Mr. Taylor was intoxicated.
   Officers removed Mr. Taylor from the building and found the metal knuckles while doing a pat-down search.
FLORENCE

   Andrew Sisco, 19, of Burlington was charged with underage purchase of alcohol and Jesse Wilcox, 20, of Roebling was charged with selling alcohol to a minor at 9:17 p.m. on Nov. 22, said police.
   Police said Mr. Sisco was seen leaving Liquor Barn on Florence-Columbus Road with alcoholic beverages and was charged with underage purchase when a police investigation revealed he was a minor. Mr. Wilcox, the store clerk, allegedly sold the alcohol to Mr. Sisco.
   Both men were issued summonses and released pending court dates.

   Police said Saiquan Harris, 25, of Florence was charged with contempt of court on a warrant from Mount Holly and Michael Whitehead, age unknown, of Florence was charged with having an open container of alcohol in public at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 22 after police observed them outside a tavern at West Second and Zinc streets.
   Police said Mr. Whitehead was seen opening and drinking a bottle of beer. A warrant check revealed that Mr. Harris was wanted for failure to appear in court in Mount Holly. Both were released pending court dates.
