PBA receives donation
for families in need
LAKEWOOD — First Washington State Bank Community Banking Officer John Iglio, on behalf of First Washington State Bank’s Community Foundation, presented a check to Officer Leonard Nieves, president of Lakewood Policeman’s Benevolent Association Local No. 71.
The funds donated by First Washington Community Foundation will be used to purchase food for Lakewood residents in need. According to a press release, Local No. 71 has been delivering meals to needy residents for the past 10 years, and expected to deliver 25 to 30 Thanksgiving dinners to Lakewood residents this year.
