Joseph A. King
NORTH HANOVER Joseph A. King, 62, of Jacobstown, died Dec. 27 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Trenton, he had lived in Jacobstown for 30 years.
He owned and operated King’s Roofing.
He was an elder of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Trenton, a former Boy Scout leader in Trenton and had been active in scouting for many years.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Central Jersey Anglers Club.
Son of the late Joseph and Mary King and stepson of Otto K. Ecker, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol Williamson King; two daughters, Debbie King of Jacobstown and Kimberly "Mimi" King of Edison; two brothers, Robert King of Missoula, Mont. and Tomas King of Medford; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 3 in the Hungarian Reformed Church, 180 Home Ave., Trenton. Interment will follow in Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery.
Friends may call Jan. 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Jan. 3 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peppler Funeral Home.

Joseph F. Walder
MANSFIELD Joseph F. Walder, 67, of Columbus died Dec. 22 at home.
Born in Florence and raised in Columbus, he lived in Delanco 20 years before returning to Columbus 20 years ago.
Mr. Walder was employed as a custodian at Northern Burlington County Regional High School for the last 10 years. Prior to this, he was employed by O and S Research, Inc. in Riverton.
He served in the NJ National Guard for many years and was a member of the NRA. He was an accomplished builder and his many interests included woodworking, gardening, tinkering, crabbing and cooking. He was an avid supporter of Northern Burlington High School football team and was a mentor to many of the area youth.
Son of the late Charles and Sarah Emma Berry Walder and brother of the late Charles Walder and Darlene Royce, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly Maugeri Walder; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathleen and Bob Smith of New Egypt and Joanne Walder of Delanco; a son, Joseph F. Walder, Jr., at home; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Marion and Robert Reeves, Beatrice and Kenneth Griffis, Charlotte and Earl Ingling, Beverly and Barry Rasmusen, and Edward Royce, all of Columbus, and Louris Walder of Bordentown; his brothers and sister-in-law, Ronald and Carmella Walder of Cedarville and Thomas Walder of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Kyle Walder and Robert Smith, III; aunts and uncles Joe and Frances Walder of Lumberton, Helen and Harry Dubell, Elizabeth Burmeister and Helen Berry, all of Florence; a special cousin, Carol Walder of Hedding; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at the Dennison Funeral Home, Florence.
Interment was in Columbus Cemetery.

Sophie Frappolli
FLORENCE Sophie Frappolli, 75, died Dec. 28 at home.
Mrs. Frappolli was born in Esch Alzette, Luxembourg. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Moro Wahl. Mrs. Frappolli resided in Florence since 1946.
She was a caregiver to many children and elderly individuals in Roebling and Florence including: Francis and Marcella Duffy, the Nils Johnson family, Mary Meade and residents of the Florence Nursing Home.
She enjoyed attending Holy Assumption Bingo and bus trips to Atlantic City.
Mrs. Frappolli was a member of St. Clare’s Catholic Church, Florence, Francis W. Robbins American Legion Post 194 Ladies Auxiliary, Florence and the Marconi Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, Florence.
Wife of the late John A. "Reds" Frappolli and sister of the late Jacqueline, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph B. and Donna Frappolli of Florence; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda M. and Jeffry Willits of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Kristin Frappolli of Columbus; a sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Bruno Rialto of Esch Alzette, Luxembourg; a step-sister and spouse, Paulette and Fulgencio Molina of Rumelange, Luxembourg; six grandchildren: Gina Dunphy and Joseph, Angela, Risa, Amanda and Andrew Frappolli; a great-grandchild, Isabella Dunphy; and several nieces and nephews in Luxembourg.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Jan. 2 at Koscheck & Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling. Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 with Rev. Flexi Venza officiating.
The funeral will be held 9 a.m. on Jan. 3 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. on Jan. 3 at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, Front Street, Florence.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Florence.

Rowland C.
Garwood
BORDENTOWN CITY Rowland C. Garwood, 92, died Dec. 28 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Bordentown, he resided there all of his life.
He retired in 1972 as an accountant with the New Jersey Treasury Department having over 45 years of service.
Mr. Garwood was one of the oldest living members of the First Baptist Church of Bordentown and was a member of Burlington Lodge #22, IOOF.
He is survived by a cousin, Alan G. Friedrich of Bordentown City.
Funeral services were held at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown City, with the Rev. Jay Rambo officiating.
Burial followed in the Bordentown Cemetery.
Wilhelmina M.
Gunther
BORDENTOWN Wilhelmina M. Gunther, 87, died Dec. 25 at her home.
Born in New York City, NY., she had lived in Leisuretown in Southampton before moving to Bordentown three years ago.
Wife of the late Joseph D. Gunther, she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, William Joseph and Jamie Tucker of Rehobeth Beach, Del.; a niece, Mary Effie Gunther of Bordentown Township; and nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary’s Church, Bordentown.
Interment followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle, NY.
Jeane H. Nolan
FLORENCE Jeane H. Nolan, 76, of Florence, died Dec. 23 at Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro.
Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Nolan lived in Trucksville, Pa. for many years and came to Florence from Hopewell 44 years ago.
She retired in 1981 as a teacher with the Florence Township School System after 22 years of service.
She was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Roebling and served as the choir director, former treasurer and on the board of trustees.
She was also a member of the Good Neighbors Senior Citizens Club of Florence and the Florence American Legion ladies auxiliary Unit 194.
Mrs. Nolan also served as the piano accompanist for the Florence High School orchestra for various performances.
Wife of the late Walter R. Nolan and mother of the late Jeanette Stover, she is survived by a daughter, Leslie DiLuigi of Marlton and two sons; John L. Nolan of Florence and Thomas C. Nolan of Mt. Holly; four brothers, F. Allan Haughwout of Lititz, Pa., Nelson S. Haughwout of Baltimore, Md., Richard W. Haughwout of Trucksville, Pa., and J. Douglas Haughwout of Alphretta, Ga.; grandchildren Ian C. Nolan, Alicia Stover, Kirsten Stover, Cameron Stover, Kyle Stover and Elisa Stover; and a former son-in-law and his wife, Kevin and Sandy Stover of San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral services were held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Roebling. The Rev. Robert S. Turton, pastor, officiated.
Interment was in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Dennison Funeral Home, Florence.
David F. Gray
PLUMSTED David F. Gray, 55 of New Egypt died Dec. 25 at home.
Born in Trenton, he had lived in Chesterfield and Plumsted townships most of his life.
He loved the outdoors and had worked in various areas of agriculture throughout his life.
He was a former member of the Chesterfield Hose Fire Co. Most recently he was employed at Gambler Ridge Golf Club.
Son of the late Francis Gray, brother of the late Elizabeth and Peter Gray; he is survived by a daughter, Heather Gray; a son, Michael Gray, both of Roebling; his mother, Elsie Huber Gray of Pennington; a sister, Peggy Holliday of New Hampshire; a sister-in-law, Stacey Gray of Manahawkin and three nieces.
A memorial service was held from the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
Cremation was private.
