WHITING Marion G. Rose, 99, died at a family home in Whiting.
Born in Miami, Fla., she lived in Bordentown before coming to Crestwood Village One in Whiting in 1967.
She was employed at the Watchcase in Riverside and the Bordentown Library.
She was active in the Bordentown PTA and First Presbyterian Church. She later volunteered at the Crestwood Village Welcome Wagon and Somebody C.A.R.E.S. in Whiting.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, puzzles, and game shows and acted as a caregiver to many Crestwood Village friends.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Charles C. who died in 1971. She is survived by a son, Charles H. Rose of Newton, Pa.; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Harold Heiney of Monroe, Conn.; and a daughter, Doris Rose of Whiting.
She is also survived by a grandson, Greg Heiney, and granddaughters, Beth Rose, Ph.D.; Rev. Chris Parham; Meg Dyer; Sue Wilgan; and Karen Brown; 5 great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
Burial was a private service in Philadelphia.

Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, LLC, Whiting, was in charge of the arrangements.
Marie Ellen Schultz
CHESTERTOWN, Md. Marie Ellen Schultz (nee Cook), 86, died Dec. 28 at Heron Point in Chestertown, Md.
She was born in Ft. Winnebago, Wis. Her early years and after she was married were spent in Wisconsin and at one point she was a deputy sheriff.
She later moved to Philadelphia and then Fairview Village, Pa. where she was a Grey Lady member of the Valley Forge DAR and Questers.
Later, she moved to Lawrenceville and Columbus and finally, Heron Point.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Schultz; a son, Terrence R. Schultz, of Blue Bell, Pa.; a daughter, Patricia L. Panacek of Warwick, Md.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newman Funeral Home, Chestertown, Md.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Kent Hospice Foundation, 103 Dixon Dr., Chestertown, MD 21620.
