Joseph Perhach

   HILLSBOROUGH – Joseph Perhach died Monday, Dec. 30, in Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. He was 78.
   He was born in Millstone and lived in Manville for many years before moving to Hillsborough 20 years ago.
   Mr. Perhach is a retired construction worker for local 825 in Somerville.
   He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946.
   He was a member of the American Legion Post 304 in Manville, and a former member of the Moose Lodge in Bound Brook.
   He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough.
   Surviving are his wife, Anne J. (Fritz) Perhach; two daughters, Joyce K.Giorgi of Manville; one brother, Peter Jr. of Manville; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
   Funeral services were held Jan. 3 in Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
