Theresa R. Weber
SEVERNA PARK, Md. Theresa R. Weber, 94, of Allentown died Dec. 26 at the Severna Park Center.
Born on the family farm, Mrs. Weber was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew J. and Barbara T. Weber of Severna Park, Md; her son, John Weber of San Bernadino, Calif.; five grandchildren, Rachel B. Arfaoui of Raleigh, N.C., Andrew S. Weber of Carolina Beach, N.C., Rebecca J. Weber of Durham, N.C., Ryan J. Weber of San Bernadino, and Elizabeth R. Weber of El Centro, Calif.; a great-grandchild, Irwin O’Donnell of Raleigh, N.C.; and four nieces and five nephews.
Graveside services were held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery followed by a burial.
Joseph F. Walder
MANSFIELD Joseph F. Walder, 67, of Columbus died Dec. 22 at home.
Born in Florence and raised in Columbus, he lived in Delanco 20 years before returning to Columbus.
He was a custodian at Northern Burlington County Regional High School for the last 10 years. He also was employed by O&S Research Inc. in Riverton.
He served in the New Jersey National Guard for many years and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Son of the late Charles and Sarah Emma Berry Walder and brother of the late Charles Walder and Darlene Royce, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly Maugeri Walder; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathleen and Bob Smith of New Egypt and Joanne Walder of Delanco; a son, Joseph F. Walder Jr.; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Marion and Robert Reeves, Beatrice and Kenneth Griffis, Charlotte and Earl Ingling, Beverly and Barry Rasmusen, and Edward Royce, all of Columbus, and Louris Walder of Bordentown, and his brothers and sister-in-law, Ronald and Carmella Walder of Cedarville and Thomas Walder of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Kyle Walder and Robert Smith III; aunts and uncles, Joe and Frances Walder of Lumberton, Helen and Harry Dubell, Elizabeth Burmeister and Helen Berry, all of Florence; a special cousin, Carol Walder of Hedding; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral was held at Dennison Funeral Home, Florence.
Burial was in Columbus Cemetery.

Frederick Hewins
HIGHTSTOWN Frederick Hewins, 88, died Dec. 29 at the Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Elyria, Ohio, Mr. Hewins was a lifelong resident of Hightstown.
He was a weaver for the Native Lace Co. for many years and later worked for McGraw-Hill Co.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theatre with the 384th Bomb Group. He was a master sergeant and crew chief for the B-17 Flying Fortresses. He was a longtime member of the VFW Post 5700.
Son of the late Frederick and Ann Hewins, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Theresa (Tess) Hewins; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Marianne and Al Heyesey of Allentown and Jacqueline and Brad Preston of Clarksburg; his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Frank and Cathy Hewins of Olympia, Wash.; two brothers, James of Penndel, Pa., and Charles of Hightstown; a sister, Ann Horn of Newtown, Pa.; six grandchildren, Leslie Preston MacFarlane and her husband Michael of Manalapan, Matthew Preston of Clarksburg, Kelly and Brian Heyesey of Allentown, and Megan Hewins and Lisa MacAuley of Olympia, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral was held at Glackin-Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
Burial was in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.

Victor J. Kushnerwich
FORKED RIVER Victor J. Kushnerwich, 84, died Dec. 29 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin.
He was a plasma physics lab technician at Princeton University for 24 years. He retired in 1980.
He also was a World War II Army veteran.
Born in Trenton, he lived in East Windsor before moving to Forked River 23 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Claire Ahrendt Kushnerwich; two daughters, Doreen Cier of Cape May and Sharon Ward of Robbinsville; three grandchildren, Kenneth, Douglas and Michelle Ward; and great-granddaughter, Ashley.
Funeral services were held at Christ Lutheran Church, Whiting.
Burial was in Old Tennet Cemetery, Tennent.
Teresa Barbuto Holcombe
HOPEWELL Teresa Barbuto Holcombe, 89, died Jan. 3.
Mrs. Holcombe was a retired employee of Rockwell Manufacturing in Hopewell.
She loved gardening and travel with her late husband.
Daughter of the late Natale and Mariagrazia Barbuto, sister of the late Mary Barbuto Stellitano and widow of Charles Holcombe, she is survived by her son, Charles A. Holcombe; a grandson, Glenn and his wife Christine Holcombe of Hopewell; many nieces and nephews, including Marie and Joseph M. Scandariato Sr. of Robbinsville, Rocco and Elizabeth Stellitano of Hopewell, Dominic and Virginia Stellitano of Pemberton, Michael Stellitano of Las Vegas, Nev., Theresa Spoto Stellitano of Lawrenceville, Anthony Stellitano of Long Beach Island, N.J., and many grand nieces and nephews and devoted friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Hopewell.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell.

Josephine Rose Chiusano
MILLSTONE TOWNSHIP Josephine Rose Chiusano, 77, died Dec. 28 at Kingston Hospital, Kingston, N.Y.
Born in Trenton, she lived in Millstone for the past 51 years.
Mrs. Chiusano was an inspector for Brockway Glass Co. in Freehold for 29 years. She retired 15 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Perrineville.
She is survived by her husband, Domenico "Nick" Chiusano; a daughter and son-in-law, Lucille and George Bussiere of Grand Gorge, N.Y.; a sister, Mary Morettoni of Trenton; three grandchildren, George and Jospeh Bussiere and Josephine Blunt; and five great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Katherine and Jennifer Blunt and Michael and Steven Bussiere.
Funeral liturgy was held at St. Joseph Church, Perrineville.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Perrineville.

Matilda Chester
ALLENTOWN Matilda Chester, 95, of Allentown, died Jan. 2 at Princeton Medical Center.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Amityville, N.Y., before moving to Allentown 25 years ago.
She was a member of the Allentown Presbyterian Church.
Wife of the late Dwight Horace Chester, she is survived by a son, Robert Chester Sr. of Amityville; a daughter, Dorothy Hock of Allentown; four grandchildren; Katherine Ricci of Allentown, Linda Hock of Scranton, Pa., Robert Chester Jr. of Amityville and Brett Chester of Dix Hills, N.Y.; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral was held at Allentown Presbyterian Church.
Cremation was private.

Richard H. Satterthwait
MANALAPAN Richard H. Satterthwait, 83, died Jan. 5 at Blythe House Assisted Living in Manalapan.
Born in Chesterfield Township, he lived in Upper Freehold most of his life before moving to Manalapan.
He was a retired farmer, a member of the New Jersey Farm Bureau and a former president of the board of trustees of the Allentown Presbyterian Church. He had served Upper Freehold Township as a committeeman for many years and had also served as mayor.
Husband of the late Miriam Barclay Satterthwait, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and David Holland of Parkesburg, Pa., and Carol and Lindsey Hartshorn of Castleton, Vt.; a sister and brother-in-law, Evelina and Charles Hepner of Jackson; and two grandsons, Richard and Charles Holland.
Funeral was held Wednesday at Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown. Burial was in North Crosswicks Cemetery.
