Holocaust center to open at Mercer County College

   WEST WINDSOR. — The Mercer County Holocaust/Genocide Resource Center will open Wednesday at the library of Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
   The new center will promote resources for holocaust education and awareness, and will include books and technological aids to assist public and private schools in planning courses of study on the Holocaust.
   The project was made possible through a collaboration between Mercer County, the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education and the college.
   A ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. will include Mercer County Executive Robert Prunetti, MCCC President Robert Rose and chairman of the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education Philip Kirschner.
   An address by Dr. Paul B. Winkler, executive director of the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education, will explain the purpose of the center.
   Area Holocaust survivors, educators and elected officials have been invited to attend. The Act I Players will perform a short dramatization. The public is welcome.
