LAW
The Princeton law firm of Archer & Greiner and corporate attorney Michael A. Rambert have been selected to instruct the High-Tech Entrepreneurial Training Institute of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s "Building Your High Tech Business Training Program." Mr. Rambert was selected to lead and facilitate this program because of his experience in the legal areas of technology development, venture capital and emerging business development.
Princeton resident John R. Thompson joined the firm of Lynch Martin Attorneys at Law based in North Brunswick. Mr. Thompson will focus on all aspects of civil litigation including the defense of public entities, automobile and premises liability, and commercial matters.

Amper, Politziner & Mattia, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, have announced that David A. Gaynor II has joined the firm as a supervisor in the firm’s Litigation and Valuation Services Group. Mr. Gaynor provides consulting, litigation support and business valuation services to various commercial entities, attorneys and individuals. Mr. Gaynor received a bachelor’s degree from the College of New Jersey and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Rider University.
Steven L. Lubetkin, vice president and director of corporate communications for FleetBoston Financial Corporation, Princeton, has been elected to serve on the board of directors of the Public Relations Society of America. Mr. Lubetkin is a veteran of more than 25 years in corporate and financial communications, and print and broadcast journalism.

INDUSTRY
C. James Trombino has been named acting executive director of the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF), a trade association for the international metal powder producing and consuming industries; and the professional society APMI. He has held a variety of management positions since joining MPIF in 1967, most recently directing the organization’s conferences, publications and professional development departments.
With more than 275 member organizations, the MPIF, headquartered in Princeton, consists of six trade associations and industry consultants: Powder Metal Parts Association, Metal Powder Producers Association, Powder Metallurgy Equipment Association, Refractory Metals Association, Advanced Particulate Materials Association, and the Metal Injection Molding Association.
HEALTH CARE
Maurice Coffee Jr. was recently awarded the New Jersey Business & Industry Association’s annual Leonard C. Johnson Award in recognition of his long-term commitment to the NJBIA as a member of the association’s Health Affairs Committee as well as his dedication to New Jobs, the business community’s political action committee.
Currently vice president of government relations for Virtua Health, the largest healthcare provider in southern New Jersey, Mr. Coffee is responsible for all of Virtua’s governmental and legislative relations in both New Jersey and Washington.
A graduate of Princeton High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pa., and his master’s degree in hospital and health administration from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. He currently resides in Princeton.
ARCHITECTURE
Andrew J. Katz has been added to the staff of Thomas Associates Architects & Engineers as the marketing coordinator for the Princeton office. He will be responsible for taking the initiative in the research, coordination and development/submittal of proposals.

Nick and Denise Schiera, residents of West Windsor, received the Greatest Start Award for a New Market at this year’s Great Clips convention in Minneapolis, Minn.
The Schieras opened New Jersey’s first Great Clips franchise in March 2002 and were busy from the first day they opened their doors. The salon, located in the Nassau Park Pavilion, is one of nearly 1,800 salons across the U.S. and Canada. It is open 7 days a week and employs 14 stylists and assistants.

Randall Kirkpatrick, vice president of Princeton-based Eagle Public Relations, received the 2002 Recruiting Volunteers Award representing the Northeastern Region of the American Diabetes Association. He was also inducted into the association’s Million Dollar Club for his work with the Rainbow Gala in Newark, an event that raises funds for ethnic groups most at risk for diabetes.
An exhibit designed for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation by Creative Marketing Alliance Inc. won first place at the American Public Health Association’s annual meeting and exposition held recently in Philadelphia. The RWJF was selected from more than 600 exhibitors for its creativity, innovation, and use of space and display.

The Neo-Strata Company, located in Plainsboro, announced the appointment of Michael Mongiello as executive director, professional sales. With more than 30 years experience in professional dermatology sales, Mr. Mongiello will be responsible for managing and developing all domestic professional sales of NeoStrata products to physicians, estheticians and other health professionals.
MANUFACTURING
Songbird Hearing Inc., makers of the world’s first disposable hearing aid, have announced the appointment of Christopher DiCostanzo to the position of director of product management. In his newly created position, Mr. DiCostanzo will lead the marketing efforts for Songbird’s professional and consumer products.
Prior to joining Songbird, Mr. DiCostanzo spent more than five years in marketing management positions of increasing responsibility as part of Johnson & Johnson’s Personal Products Company. He received a BA degree from Purdue University, and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Mr. DiCostanzo and his family reside in West Windsor.
